Hi and thanks for stopping here to check out my story!
My name is Nancy Loehr and I am the founding member of the Savvy Sisters Syndicate and I am also known as the Mindset Mama.
Welcome to my blog.
I have had one heck of a journey up until this point in time and I don't suspect things will be slowing down any time soon.
I thrive on the things in life that aren't things.
Don't get me wrong – I LOVE a nice house, nice car, nice clothes just like anyone else.
But as I get older I realize how those “things” are just that.
I yearn for the things that aren't so tangible.
I can say that because my husband and I have 2 houses, 3 kitchens ( I LOVE to cook), 2 cars, 3 trucks (not counting the ones that aren't running at the moment), a logging operation, enough furniture, kitchen appliances, clothing and jewelry ( and a fat sassy cat) to make any woman grateful a hundred times over.
Not that I'm NOT grateful – I am very blessed and grateful and express just that many times daily.
But there is one thing that all that “stuff” cannot buy.
And that is time freedom.
Well actually 2 things.
The other one is health.
You see, what I learned about all the “stuff” is that the “stuff” requires maintenance.
The homes need to be cleaned, also regular maintenance such as lawns mowed.
Same for the vehicles. They are not maintained by osmosis. Someone has to physically see to it that they get regular oil changes, tires replaced when needed, along with brakes and other things that may go wrong.
Ditto for the logging operation. My husband and I own this and I cannot begin to tell you the countless hours and back breaking work this requires to run smoothly.
What I'm trying to say here is – owning all the stuff does not make you free.
Sure – you can hire people to do these things for you. But you have to manage the people. Freedom still eludes you.
It is abundance, yes, but it is abundance without the freedom to pick up and go when you want.
For a long time I searched for a way to earn an income, a good one, without all the ties and obligations to objects and things.
And then I came across online marketing.
A business where you work for yourself but not by yourself.
There are people to help you succeed – and the sky is the limit to choose from what you want to market.
And – here's the best part – you can make it happen from the convenience of your laptop.
Wherever I go with my laptop is where I conduct my business.
To me, that is the ultimate definition of freedom.
I am able to visit my family who lives 350 miles away whenever I want.
I was able to spend a lot of quality time with my mother before she passed away in September of 2015.
I am able to spend time helping my niece who is getting married this year with her wedding plans.
I am able to attend events in beautiful places to help me succeed in my online business.
And one of the most important things……..
I have met some of the most incredible people who have changed my life.
I realize how important it is to be connected to like minded people.
Does any of this resonate with you?
Is your life like mine?
Do you crave the freedom to spend time with your family, your children, your loved ones?
